I love starting the planning journey with new wedding clients and talking through all their plans and ideas for their big day. It's exciting for me to see the changing style trends that people are looking for and the different key stationery items that they want to be included in their big day. These have trends too and over the last few years of being in business, I have seen lots of new stationery ideas and concepts emerging to add some wonderful finishing touches to a very special day. Welcome Boards are something that have become very popular over the past few years. I love creating them and alongside my client's ideas, we have come up with some amazing designs and concepts.
A welcome board is a great addition to any wedding, especially if you have a venue with many different entrances. It is also a lovely way to welcome people to the venue and help to navigate them in the right direction.
You can add any message you like to a welcome board. I have created boards with a simple ‘Wedding of’ message to some great phrases or quotes that are personal to the brides and grooms that I have worked with.
Below are some of the previous boards that I have created, but I am always excited by new ideas and concepts and I love a challenge.
Copper Frame with Copper Lettering
This is a recent creation which has become a real favourite for me. A beautiful copper frame with matching bespoke, laser cut lettering which has been hand designed by Polly and Me. This lettering then appears to be floating within the frame. This can be created with any message, but this one has the names of the bride and groom with a ‘welcome to the wedding of’ message.
Floor Standing Copper Frame
This floor standing copper frame welcome sign has a contrast of white lettering which appears to be floating within the frame. This particular sign has a great message of ‘welcome to the best day ever’
Chalk signs are one of our most popular. I can see why; they really stand out, complement a great range of wedding themes and styles and make a great impact.
Here are a few of my favourite welcome boards on a range of different materials and containing lots of different message ideas.
